Buying Your Home
What to Consider:
Benchmarks
A benchmark is a standard or point of reference used to compare or assess the progress and value of services. However, benchmarks can be viewed from the perspectives that surround them. Like the glass half empty or glass half full scenario, some see a benchmark as a lofty goal while others see it as a minimum standard to be used as a foundation to be built upon. We at Kenai Realty are of that mindset. Benchmarks are not lofty goals, but minimum foundations.
Expectations
When a buyer contracts with a real estate agent, their main expectation is that the agent will represent and protect the buyer, the buyer’s confidentiality, goals, interests and of course their home and money.
Yet, we all know through years of experience that there are multiple degrees or levels of representation, including a minimum expectation of representation required from a governing standards commission.
Unfortunately, all too many agents approach client representation as if the mandated minimum is truly the benchmark that an agent should reach and strive for, as if it were truly the standard of excellence.
Excellence
Here at Kenai Realty, we see the expectation level of representation set by real estate commissions to be a foundation for us to stand on, rather than a benchmark or lofty goal for us to reach for.
For us, each component, document, stage and step of your transaction are to be navigated carefully and with exacting precision in their construct, intent, purpose and result.
At Kenai Realty, the level of representation that we set as our benchmark for success is that of excellence in each and every aspect of the transaction, including and especially it’s outcome.
Your Complete Satisfaction Is Our Benchmark Goal
It's All About Representation
When a company considers standards of excellence as a minimum level of acceptable representation, benchmarks become basic, and expectations are exceeded. At Kenai Realty, we view the benchmark of representation from the perspective that it is a foundation to stand and build upon rather than a lofty goal to achieve.
